How to make a Pompom for your own Round Beach Bag?

You will need :
- Thread
- Fork
- The scissors

First step: Start by preparing all your pom poms using the fork method. Feel free to make a big batch of pom poms with this tutorial. Many like them in different sizes and colors . Wrap the yarn around the top of the fork about 50 times for large pom poms. Once you've done this, cut a short length of yarn and pass it through the middle tine near the base of the fork. Knot the yarn to secure it, slide the ball of yarn in and hold it by the longer strings to keep it from coming undone.
Step Two: Cut each loop of yarn with scissors and tie the longer pieces tightly. Finally, cut each of the longer pieces and cut the bale to make sure each piece is roughly even. Repeat steps one and two with new yarn in different colors to create the rest of your pom poms.
Third step: Make your pom pom strings by taking a piece of yarn or string threaded through a large eye needle . Then string the pom poms and leave an inch of string free between each pom so it doesn't look too crowded. The middle of your string should be free of pom poms, as you will need this space to wrap around the handle of the round wicker bag . Finish the chain of pom poms by knotting each end.
Step Four: Now for the pom poms , which you do using a method quite similar to the one you used for the pom poms. Instead of using a fork, wrap the yarn around your four fingers about 20 times. Next, remove the looped yarn from your fingers and tie a piece of yarn through the top loops. Then use the scissors to cut another length of yarn and tie it around the yarn near the top. Cut the bottom curls to create the bangs and cut the pieces that are too long. Finally, tie the top string together to make a long loop and your tassel is complete.
Step Five: Finally, it's time to attach the pom poms and pom poms to the handle of your bag by looping it around, just like you would attach a luggage tag to a suitcase. Now you are done!

You will need :
- A woven or straw bag
- Pom pom chain (see guide above)
- Needle and thread or hot glue gun
Step One: Practice arranging the string of pom poms on your bohemian bag to determine where you want the decoration to rest permanently. Next, cut the pieces of string slightly longer than you think you'll need.
Step Two: Use a hot glue gun to carefully attach the string of pom poms along the top of your straw bag , or sew on the topper to secure it more securely.

How to turn an acorn into a decorative charm?
Step One: If you plan to make a bag charm , ornament, or other similar pom pom charm, when making the pom pom choose to use braided Omegacryl or a thicker yarn to be the top string and leave it hanging on top, rather than hiding the inside of your pom pom. (You can always add a new piece of yarn to the top loop if your tassel is already finished!)
For stacking beads, pom poms etc. on top of your pom pom, thread both strands of the top string over a plastic yarn needle. Place the ornaments you are stuffing your glans with onto the plastic needle and push them to thread them onto the top string.
Step Two: Be sure to remove the tails from the top strings, then add additional embellishments. When all ornaments have been added, tie a knot a few inches above the top ornament. Use this method to create bag charms, gift decorations, ornaments, doorknob charms and more!
